How does the badge work?
The badge is a small image served by XKey. The first time it's shown, we check your home page in the background and remember the score; after that we re-check about once a week, so the number stays honest. Clicking the badge opens your full, up-to-date report.
Where should I put it?
Most sites put it in the footer, next to payment or trade-association logos. Web designers often add it to the sites they build to show clients the work is search-ready.
Does the badge slow my site down?
No. It's a tiny image (under 1 kB) served from Cloudflare's network and cached, with no scripts and no cookies.

The badge always shows your real score. If it drops, the linked report shows exactly what changed and how to fix it – or remove the badge at any time.
